• Baccalaureate Ceremony

    What is the Baccalaureate Ceremony?

The Baccalaureate ceremony celebrates the completion of an undergraduate academic career and is usually a time to recognize formally the achievements of students who have earned academic excellence. Hence the bestowal of awards.

Besides recognizing achievement, the Baccalaureate marks a joyous occasion for the whole community. As a Catholic university sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, Regis has always celebrated the Baccalaureate with a special liturgy in order to give thanks and praise to God, to honor our spiritual legacy, and to rejoice with one another. All are welcome to attend.

The Baccalaureate Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3 p.m. under the tent at the Tower Garden. Candidates for a bachelor’s degree need to report to the Upper Student Center no later than 2:30 p.m. for instructions and procession line. Wear your gown and carry the hood (no cap). We recommend wearing black shoes. Families are invited to proceed directly to the tent.

Please contact the Office of Student Affairs at 781.768.7050 if you have any questions.
