Regis College Graduate Assistants serve in support roles within individual offices on campus while completing their graduate degree. Graduate assistants may have instructional responsibilities as tutors or may be employed in an entry-level capacity by one of many university departments such as Admissions, Student Affairs, Health Services, the School of Nursing, the Autism Center or Online Learning, to name a few.  Graduate Assistant positions allow each student a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional skills while also providing a financial aid opportunity. Graduate Assistantships are available to graduate students who are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits within their graduate program, and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Two G.A. levels are offered:

  • 7.5 hours/week, 112.5 hours/semester - $2,500/semester tuition reduction
  • 15 hours/week, 225 hours/semester - $5,000/semester tuition reduction


Positions for the 2019 - 2020 academic year will be published in March 2019.

    • Once logged in, go to the Graduate Assistantship page where you may view and apply for a position that interests you.
    • The faculty or staff member whose job you applied for will review all applications and will contact those they wish to interview. 
    • In the event that you are not chosen for a particular job, you will be notified and be given the opportunity to apply for a different position.
    • The deadline for students to apply for a G.A. position starting Fall 2019 is Friday, April 19th, 2019.
  • Additional Information

    • If you are applying after the deadline has passed, please send your application and resume to to be put on a waitlist.  Positions will occasionally become available throughout the academic year. 
    • Current Graduate Assistants must reapply annually to be reconsidered for a subsequent year. Positions are not automatically renewed.
    • No homework may be done during G.A. hours.
    • The schedule will be determined and set by G.A. supervisor.
    • Supervisors reserve the right to terminate the G.A. position at any point during the semester based on G.A.’s failure to fulfill job or academic responsibilities.

    • Offices interested in hiring a Graduate Assistant must submit a request form to the Office of Graduate Affairs by Friday, March 8, 2019.
      • Please note: there are a limited number of positions available each year, and offices must re-apply annually.  You will be notified if your position has been accepted or denied by Friday, March 22, 2019.
