A Regis student discussing testing with a member of the Center for Health and Wellness staffThe fall semester at Regis College is off to a great start, and that includes the campus community’s response to COVID-19. More than 95 percent of students, faculty, and staff are fully vaccinated, and the on-campus positivity rate since August 30 is below .1 percent from more than 1,700 tests.

To better serve those on campus and ensure the #ProtectThePride efforts continue to be such a success, here are four key takeaways about the weekly on-campus testing process:

1) You Must Pre-Schedule Your Weekly Test(s)

Appointments are required to get a routine COVID test. Walk-in COVID-19 tests are not available on campus.

Appointments are scheduled through the CoVerified app by following these steps:

  • Click on the Testing icon at the bottom of the app’s home screen
  • You will be brought to the Testing page. Click on the Calendar icon in the top right corner
  • Select the test location, the date, and from the available times
  • Click submit

To see your scheduled appointments, click on the Testing icon on the app’s home screen.

2) You Need to Receive a Negative Test Weekly to Stay Compliant

In order to stay compliant, you must have a green “Cleared” status screen in CoVerified.

This only occurs when both your vaccine status and a recent PCR test result has been uploaded. Simply completing a COVID test will not change your status in CoVerified until the test result comes in.

It is crucial community members following this testing schedule to stay in compliance:

  • Vaccinated individuals are required to test once per week and within one week of being on campus and within one week of returning to campus.
  • Unvaccinated individuals with an approved exemption are required to test twice per week (every four days) and within 72 hours of arriving to campus if not on campus weekly.

It is advised you schedule your tests for the same day each week:

3) Off-Site PCR Tests are Accepted

Understanding individuals’ schedules might make it difficult to get tested on campus, off-site negative PCR tests are acceptable. Please continue on the same weekly or every four days schedule, depending on vaccination status, to remain in compliance.

To upload your off-site result to CoVerified, click on the + icon on home screen and select Upload Test Result. Please include the following information:

  • Full name
  • Date of test performed
  • Test result
  • Test type to confirm PCR

4) The Testing Center is Open Monday through Friday

The schedule for the on-campus testing center is as follows:

  • Monday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
