Dr. Mininder (Mimi) Sodhi, PhD, LCSW is an assistant professor in social work at Regis College and has more than 20 years of experience as a social work administrator and educator. She has taught across the practice, research, and HBSE curricula, as well as field education in both BSW and MSW programs. Dr. Sodhi served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand and has been a training specialist with the Department of Health and Human Services. She also served as a Marine Corps Officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and received a Meritorious Service Medal as well as a Navy Commendation Medal. In addition, Dr. Sodhi has been a clinical social worker in Georgia providing services in substance abuse recovery, as a military family counselor, and in the areas of mental health, crisis intervention, and trauma recovery.
