    About

    Megan Hawk is a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner who lives in Northeastern Ohio. In her outpatient practice, she provides behavioral health medication management, medication-assisted treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, oversees an on-site crisis stabilization unit, and provides administrative oversight for nurses and fellow nurse practitioners.

    She is a full-time senior lecturer at Regis College where she teaches primary care of the psychiatric mental health client I and II, although her favorite course to teach is Advanced Psychopharmacology. She completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from Kent State University in 2007; her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kent State University in 2011, and her Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. She holds national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She precepts students who are in their PMHNP clinical rotation. She also volunteers with the Red Cross of Northeastern Ohio, providing disaster mental health counseling to individuals impacted by disasters in her community.
