Professor Cyganik is the assistant dean of Pre-Licensure Nursing. Professor Cyganik's nursing background is in medical-surgical nursing. She began her nursing career as an Army Nurse serving in the Washington D.C. area. While on active duty in the Army Professor Cyganik worked on a multispecialty surgical unit at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and on a trauma/orthopedic surgical unit caring for wounded service members at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Most recently, Professor Cyganik's clinical experience included working on a medical-surgical unit at Winchester Hospital.
