Dr. Hallisey-Pesa offers personalized guidance and support to students and helping them recognize and reach their full potential is an important aspect of my job that she takes incredibly seriously. Dr. Hallisey-Pesa feels that being an approachable educator creates a safe space for open dialogue and growth. Through thoughtful advising, students are encouraged to take ownership of their goals, fostering accountability, and building resilience. This nurturing environment (excellence tempered with gentleness) ultimately enhances their confidence and empowers them to thrive both academically and personally.
