    About

    Dr. Jacquelyn MacDonald is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-D® and has been practicing behavior analysis for over 16 years across a variety of settings including grade schools, preschools, in-home, after-school programs, residential homes, and day programs with individuals diagnosed with disabilities. She is currently the director of the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis Program at Regis College and the co-director of the Regis Autism Center. She has received training at The New England Center for Children. Prior to Regis, Dr. MacDonald was an adjunct faculty member at Simmons College and UMass Boston. She serves as the clerk for the Massachusetts Coalition for ABA Providers and on the Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy professional practice committee. Dr. MacDonald is interested in teaching observational learning to children diagnosed with disabilities across a wide range of activities including play, academic, and vocational tasks. She is also interested in the assessment and treatment of problematic behavior. Her focus includes examining problem behavior within the context of the behavior momentum metaphor.

    She is published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavioral Inventions. She has served as a guest reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, The Education and Treatment of Children, Psychological Record, and Behavioral Interventions. She is on the editorial board of Behavioral Interventions.

    She has presented research at numerous national conferences
