The director of residence life is responsible for the operation, administration, and supervision of the educational, social, and physical environments of the university's 800 residential students and five residence halls. The director of residence life also oversees the departmental budget, sets goals, coordinates assessment efforts, and establishes learning outcomes and strategic priorities for the department. The director serves as the main administrator on call, supporting the professional staff on call team.
Bridget joined the Regis Residence Life team as the assistant director in October of 2014. She is a graduate of Boston College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education and a master’s degree in both English literature and higher education, with a concentration in student affairs. With a passion for residential education and student development, Bridget works to support our students throughout their college experience by being a Title IX investigator, a CARE Advisor, the Women’s Tennis team mentor, and an avid Regis Pride fan. She is a member of the First-Year Seminar faculty, where she serves as an academic advisor and teaches a linked writing course. In her role as director, Bridget strives to create a welcoming and positive environment in the residence halls, by supporting and developing programs, supervising the professional Residence Life staff, and selecting the resident assistant staff.
