After receiving his undergraduate degree in communications and graduate degree in education from Boston University, Andy applied his education in both fields to producing a long-running, Emmy-winning series for young people at WBZ-TV (CBS/Boston). He also produced and wrote public affairs/talk programming for WBZ Radio, WBOS-FM, and CN8/The Comcast Network. He spent three years building the brand of Boston’s iconic North Bennet Street School, a decade as editor-in-chief of a university magazine and two years establishing the voice of University of California, Santa Barbara Alumni as its writer/editor. He contributes essays and other content to a variety of consumer magazines, newspapers and websites.
