Welcome to the Regis College Writing Center!
College Hall, Room 383
Open to all Regis College undergraduates Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Our mission is to provide resources and support for writers of all levels and abilities. Writing Assistants will help Regis undergraduate students with writing assignments and papers in all classes. From an essay in the first year to more advanced writing, conferences with a writing assistant can take you from beginning to brainstorm for an idea to polishing and perfecting the final draft. We will help you to do the following:
- Brainstorm for ideas
- Begin drafting your paper
- Find the focus
- Structure your evidence for the most effective presentation of ideas
- Expand your argument
- Create effective introductions and conclusions
- Learn to edit your work
- Use APA or MLA style with confidence
- Gain confidence as a writer
We are not an editing or proofreading service, but we will help you become stronger editors of your own work.
Writing assistance appointments take place in the Writing Center, which is located in College Hall, Room 383. However, some evening hours are available in the residence halls.
