Internships

Internships allow students to apply classroom learning to the world of work. They also enable students to explore various careers while developing marketable skills. Internships are often the first place employers look to hire entry level professionals. Regis students are strongly encouraged to participate in at least one internship and many majors require one or more internships to graduate.

Academic internships — available to juniors and seniors — relate directly to the student’s major and may be eligible for academic credit. Non-credit internships are available to all students and can be used as a way to explore various jobs and gain professional experience in industries that may not be directly related to the major. Internships can be paid or unpaid, depending on the opportunity and field.
