Experiential Learning & Career Center

The Regis Approach

We believe that learning outside the classroom and career development are fundamental parts of a Regis education. That’s why these experiences are built into our core curriculum:

All Regis undergraduates participate in experiential learning though their majors. Depending on an individual student’s program this beyond-the-classroom learning may be an internship, a clinical or student-teaching placement, research, service learning, a performance, study abroad, or participation in a specialized summer or semester away program.

Each student also completes a senior capstone project that becomes part of his or her online portfolio. In addition to academic work, the portfolio contains a résumé and cover letter ready for use in job or graduate school placement.

The professionals in our Experiential Learning and Career Center provide the tools you need to land a successful experiential learning placement and to pursue a job search or graduate school admission effectively. These tools include personalized counseling and online assessments; step-by-step guidance in researching and applying for internships and jobs; and access to employer postings, on-campus recruiting and alumni mentoring.
