Disability Support Services

Students with disabilities access specific support and accommodations through the Office of Students Disabilities Services within the Student Success Center in College Hall. In this context, it is easy for students to tap into the rich network of resources, advising, tutoring, and programming that are available to all Regis students.

While the director of the office of Students Disabilities Services oversees and protects students' legally mandated accommodations, students are partners in the process of academic support, and learn about themselves and explore their considerable abilities. The fundamental goal of services and support for students with disabilities is to empower those students and to create opportunities for greater independence and self-advocacy.

While Regis College does not offer specific academic programs for individuals with disabilities, the college is committed to providing support and accommodations to all students who have need, have self-disclosed by making direct contact with the director of Disability Support Services, and are legally entitled to receiving accommodation based on documentation provided.

Students need to meet with the director of Disability Support Services, complete an application form, sign releases and provide necessary documentation related to his/her disability. Students need to understand that eligibility determination is not retroactive, and is only granted once proper documentation has been submitted and reviewed by the director of Disability Support Services.
