Teaching History Concentration

The teaching concentration is designed to complement a teaching licensure program or for straight history majors intending to pursue teacher training at the post-baccalaureate level. The program broadens the scope and content of the traditional history curriculum by exploring cross-cultural histories, interdisciplinary methods, and the history of pedagogical thought.

The major meets the requirements for licensure in history. The concentration is designed to supplement with further content.
