Welcome Week is designed specifically for the first week of classes, when students return to Regis from summer break. Welcome Week is filled with fun and exciting events to kick off the beginning of the fall semester including our club and organization fair, Walmart bus trips, Big Prize Bingo, movie nights, a campus party and an off campus event to end the week!
Welcome Back Week
Welcome Back Week is full of events to welcome students back from winter break and to kick start the spring semester. Our office brings many events and programming to the Regis campus from a hypnotist, to a paint night and big prize bingo, and also a welcome back party for all students.
Halloweek is a whole week filled with events dedicated to Halloween! Throughout the week students can partake in activities hosted by our Student Clubs and Organizations, such as pumpkin carving, fear factor, haunted tunnels, scary movies, costume contests, and a Halloween themed party! One of the coolest things about Halloweek is that most of the events are run by our student clubs and organizations.
Pizza with the President
Pizza with the President takes place once a semester and gives students the opportunity to enjoy pizza and discuss with Regis’ President, Antoinette Hays, about issues, events, and opportunities happening around campus.
Senior Wine & Cheese
Senior Wine & Cheese is an event held in April to celebrate the outgoing seniors and their accomplishments on campus. During this celebratory social, seniors have time to enjoy wine and cheese, and mingle with one another as they prepare to graduate in May.
Christmas Tree Lighting is a holiday event held every year at Regis. We celebrate Christmas by counting downing to our tree lighting in the Luben Plaza, as well as lighting up many other locations around campus. After the tree lighting everyone can enjoy ice skating, carols, hot chocolate, pictures with Santa and many other activities, such as snow globe or mug making, and gingerbread and cookie decorating. This is a great event for every one on campus to celebrate the holidays together!
CSJ Dinner is an important annual event held at Regis every year for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston. The sisters, staff and students are invited to enjoy a dinner to celebrate Regis’ mission and heritage, as well as witness the many improvements and changes that have happened at Regis over the years. The CSJ dinner is a wonderful event to share the importance of serving the dear neighbor as a campus community as well as celebrate the founders of Regis.
Baccalaureate is a mass celebrated the afternoon before the graduation ceremony to honor and bless the seniors and their families. During Baccalaureate, awards are given to seniors for their accomplishments throughout the year.
Senior Legacy is a fall event and social for graduating seniors to toast to their final year at Regis. Throughout the night seniors enjoy one another’s company, receive their senior class t-shirts, and vote on events for senior week in the spring.
Spring Week is another signature week hosted by Student Programming & Leadership during the spring semester. Spring week is filled with events that bring in the spring season such as the annual Nostalgia Fashion Show, Health Services Health Fair, a spring carnival, and a paint party to end the week.
Senior Week is a week full of events and programming for the senior graduating class. Throughout the week seniors can enjoy events such as a red sox game and an overnight trip to Foxwoods to celebrate the end of their time at Regis.
