The Regis College peer tutor program provides both class specific peer mentors and individual peer tutors free of charge to undergraduate Regis and Lawrence Memorial Hospital students. Peer mentors and tutors assist in comprehension of subject content, teach study skills, and prepare students for examinations. Regis students report that mentors and tutors serve as excellent guides when they need help maneuvering through difficult coursework.

Peer Mentors
Introductory classes in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Statistics, and Psychology, as well as some of our more challenging classes, are assigned a peer mentor. Peer mentors are chosen by the class instructor to work with students individually and in small groups. Ask your instructor for information on your assigned peer mentor.

Individualized Peer Tutoring for Specific Undergraduate Regis Courses
For tutorial assistance in other subjects, students may request a tutor for any of their undergraduate Regis courses, with the exception of EN 100 and EN 105. The Student Success Center will match students with individual tutors who have been selected by their instructors and have completed a tutoring course. Peer Writing Assistance
Need help with Writing? Regis College students have the opportunity to work with peer writing tutors who have been trained to help writers at all levels of ability in various subject areas. Every writer benefits by sharing ideas, questions and drafts with an interested reader/listener who can give useful feedback and advice. SMARTHINKING
