Academic Search Premier (trial)
This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text
This database contains only nursing journals. Provides full-text for more than 760 journals indexed in CINAHL. Major research tool for all areas of nursing and allied health literature. The database also provides full text for more than 220 books/monographs and contains author affiliations, searchable cited references, research instruments, and evidence-based care sheets.
Communication and Mass Media Complete
This database incorporates the content of CommSearch and Mass Media Articles Index along with numerous other journals in communication, mass media, and other closely-related fields of study to create a research and reference resource of unprecedented scope and depth. CMMC offers indexing and abstracts for more than 440 journals and includes full text for 326 journals.
Contemporary Literary Criticism--Select

Joanna Briggs Institute
The Joanna Briggs Institute was established in recognition of a need for evaluation of evidence derived from a diverse range of sources, including experience, experrtise and all forms of rigorous research and the translation, transfer and utilisation of the "best available evidence" into health care practice. Jstor
Jstor is a not-for-profit organization with a dual mission to create and maintain a trusted archive of important scholarly journals, and to provide access to these journals as widely as possible. Jstor does have some current issues of a few selected journals. Otherwise, because it’s main mission is archival in nature, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in Jstor (called the “moving wall”).

This database gives access to over 10,000 news, business, and legal sources. Medline Full Text
This database provides full text for more than 1,450 journals indexed in MEDLINE. Of those, more than 1,430 have cover-to-cover indexing in MEDLINE, and of those 553 are not found with full-text in other databases.
MLA International Bibliography/Directory of Periodicals
MLA International Bibliography offers a detailed bibliography of journals articles, books and dissertations. It dates back to the 1920's and contains over 2.2 million citations from more than 4,400 journals and series and 1,000 book publishers. The MLA Directory of Periodicals offers detailed information on over 5,500 journals, with 4,400 currently indexed in the International Bibliography. The detailed entries include editorial contact information, as well as frequency, circulation, subscription prices and submission guidelines.
Oxford English Dictionary
The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is widely regarded as the accepted authority on the English language. It is an unsurpassed guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of 600,000 words— past and present—from across the English-speaking world. As a historical dictionary, the OED is very different from those of current English, in which the focus is on present-day meanings. You'll still find these in the OED, but you'll also find the history of individual words, and of the language—traced through 3 million quotations, from classic literature and specialist periodicals to films scripts and cookery books.

This database, from the APA, is a source of full-text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology. It contains approximately 150,000 articles from over 70 journals published by the APA, and its imprint the Educational Publishing Foundation, and from allied organizations including the Canadian Psychology Association and Hogrefe Publishing Group.
PsycInfo
This database contains abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations. It contains approximately 3 million citations and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s with DOIs for over 1.4 million records. Journal coverage, which spans from the 1800s to present, includes international material selected from around 2,400 periodicals in dozens of languages.
PubMed/Medline (free government website)
PubMed comprises more than 20 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
Social Sciences Full Text
This database indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the U.S. and elsewhere plus the full-text of selected periodicals. Subjects covered include addiction studies, community health and medical care, corrections, criminal justice, economics, environmental studies, and urban studies.
Social Work Abstracts Plus
This database offers extensive coverage of more than 450 social work and human services journals dating back to 1965. Produced by the NASW, it provides citations and abstracts dealing with all aspects of the social work field, including theory and practice, areas of service and social issues and problems.
