David Gilmore, MS, CNMT, RT(R)(N) is an assistant professor and chair for the Medical Imaging programs. He is also the director for the nuclear medicine technology program. He holds a graduate degree from Virginia Tech in Education and undergraduate degrees from Old Dominion University in Health Sciences and Bluefield State College in Radiologic Technology. He was the program director for nuclear medicine technology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and was instrumental in transferring the program to Regis College. He also initiated the establishment of the medical imaging major in 2011.

David continues to teach courses on both the medical imaging programs at Regis College. He has served in many roles of the professional organizations such as the ASRT, SNM, ASNC, and AEIRS, including the role of president of the national SNM-TS. He has been honored by receiving fellowship from both the SNM-TS and ASNC. Not only is David active in the professional organizations, he is frequently asked to speak at national and international conferences.
