About the Haiti Project Team
Antoinette M. Hays, PhD, RN
Antoinette M. Hays, PhD, RN, is the tenth president of Regis and is the Regis College Haiti Project’s co-founder and Lead Advisor. President Hays’ energy, compassion, leadership and advisement have helped to drive the successful development and funding of the project.
Kellie LaPierre, GNP-BC
Project Co-leader & Director of Curriculum & Faculty Mentoring
Kellie is the project’s co-lead with Alexis Lawton and the Director of Curriculum and Faculty Mentoring. Kellie is also a full-time nursing faculty at Regis College and been involved with the project since 2011 as one of the first faculty volunteers. Kellie is a nurse practitioner at Wellesley Primary Care MD, PC in Wellesley, MA. Prior to joining Regis College in 2009, she was part-time faculty member at Boston College and nurse practitioner at Evercare in Waltham, MA. She was also a gerontological nurse practitioner at the Department of Veterans Affairs Center, Brockton/West Roxbury, MA. She has presented at Sigma Theta Tau and at the Global Nurses Caucus on Teaching Community Health Nursing in Haiti as part of The Regis College Haiti Project. She anticipates completing her DNP at Regis May of 2018.
Project Co-leader & Director of Development & Communications
Alexis Lawton is the project’s co-lead with Kellie LaPierre and Director of Development and Communications. After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, Alexis travelled to Haiti with Regis College as a volunteer to help with its communications and fundraising efforts for the project. A year later, with her support, the project received its first funding and Alexis became a part of the team that was built to develop and run the project.
Harry Gerard, MS
Project Liaison for Advocacy
Harry J.Gerard, MS, is the Project Liaison for Advocacy. In this role, Harry facilitates communication between the Regis team and collaborators of the project in Haiti. As a member of the Regis College Haiti Project team, Harry also travels to Haiti in support of course delivery and transitional developments.
Nancy White Street, ScD, PPCNP, BC
Nancy White Street, ScD, PPCNP, BC is a pediatric nurse practitioner with over thirty years of experience in adolescent health and nursing education.
As co-founder of the Regis College Haiti Project, along with President Antoinette Hays, Nancy now serves as the project’s Senior Advisor.
Lynne Man, PhD, MS, MPH
Faculty Advisor For Evaluation & Monitoring
Lynne Man has served as a program and policy evaluation consultant for over ten years for local, state and national programs. She is currently the internal evaluation advisor for the Haiti project and oversees the external evaluation as well, ensuring a comprehensive assessment that functions both for program sustainability as well as replicability.
Maryse Noel has been the project’s On The Ground Coordinator since 2012. Maryse is Haiti-based and has worked in close collaboration with the Project’s Director of Policy and Advocacy, and with leaders from the Haitian Ministry of Health, and the University of Haiti.

Project External Evaluator
In addition to the project team, the project has been blessed with hundreds of volunteers from Regis and the Boston area. Project volunteers have taught and led project courses, translated, invited students and staff for meals at their home and travelled with the team to Haiti. These volunteers have been a true testament to Regis’ identity as a place that embraces service to the dear neighbor and supports community.
