Control Room
Located at the rear of the Eleanor Welch Casey Theatre auditorium, the control room provides a full view of the stage and audience. In addition, it houses the master control stations for the theatre's lighting, audio, and intercommunication systems. A program monitor/paging system connects the control room and backstage areas with the green room.
Backstage Areas
Backstage is a production manager's dream come true with ample wing space as well as ground-level access to the outside to expedite the load-in/out of production equipment. The counterweight rigging system and stage travelers are operated from stage left.
Abundant 110v, 20A circuitry exists throughout the backstage area. The in-house repertory light plot is flexible enough to cover the most demanding performance, and multiple audio inputs and returns make this an easy venue for which to customize audio configurations.
Green Room/Dressing Room Suite
Nearby is a suite consisting of the green room, dressing room/make-up room, wardrobe room, and two rest rooms. The make-up room is complete with lighted make-up mirrors. The wardrobe room has a consumer-grade washer and dryer and rack space for most costuming needs. Each rest room has showers and lockers, while the green room includes a small kitchenette. The green room suite also connects to the Black Box Theatre.
