The Black Box Theatre is a partially equipped, multi-use space functioning as classroom, support area, and performance venue. Floor dimensions are approximately 32' x 32'. The same general rules as to the use of all technical facilities are to be observed.

A lighting grid of 1-1/2'' pipe on 6' centers is located 20' 1-1/2'' above the floor. The grid has four connecting strips, each with eight circuits. There are thirty-six 1.2K Leprecon MX dimmers. No control end (light board) is available, and clients using this venue must make arrangements to provide their own control board. A number of lighting instruments are available for client use. At this time, the Black Box Theatre has no audio system or backstage communications system. Clients using the venue must provide all audio and intercommunication equipment needed for their program.
