Flamenco Dance Project: De Todos Los Sabores

Location: Casey Theatre

Flamenco Dance Project is a company of artists dedicated to the evolving art of Flamenco dance and music. Its mission is to promote intercultural understanding, community growth, and cultural diversity by showcasing the talents of US-based flamenco performers. Artistic Director Sabrina Avilés also strives to improve understanding and appreciation of Flamenco through high quality performances. The result is a convergence of artists from different backgrounds and diverse styles performing together in a cohesive and dynamic way, while evoking the intensity, strength, and magic of Flamenco. As individual artists, the company has performed in many of New England’s most prestigious venues including the Wang Center (now the Citi Performing Arts Center), Worcester’s Mechanics Hall, Museum of Fine Arts, and the Portsmouth Music Hall, among others. Since its formation in 2009, Flamenco Dance Project (FDP) has performed to sold-out audiences at venues such as Shalin Liu Performance Center
