Orientation

Class of 2017 - Summer Orientation: July 29-30, 2013

The Student Affairs team at Regis College is here to ensure the academic and personal success of our students -- from the day they enroll, to the day they graduate (and every day in between).

For the newest members of our undergraduate community -- both freshmen and transfer students – the journey begins with Orientation. Here students meet classmates and choose roommates, participate in social activities, learn about campus life, register for classes, and more.

Orientation is a two-day, overnight program for both residential and commuter students. Because Orientation is essential to getting off to a great start, all first-year and transfer students are required to attend.

Orientation is just the beginning. Throughout the year, first-time students participate in First-Year Seminar, which explores the heritage and guiding principles of our college. This program introduces the array of advising and academic resources available to ensure a smooth transition to life at Regis.

What should I bring to Orientation?

An overnight bag with comfortable clothing and shoes, toiletries, towels, pillow (linens for the bed are provided). You can also bring a fan as the residence halls are not air conditioned.

Parents and students: Find everything you need – health forms, campus housing information, academic support and services, calendar dates, campus contacts, and answers to a raft of Frequently Asked Questions – at Orientation Central.

International Orientation: Friday, August 30 - Sunday, September 1

The Regis College Orientation Program is designed to welcome new students to the College. The goal of the Orientation Program is to prepare the new Regis students for both academic and personal success.

During International Orientation weekend, students will be advised, register for classes, meet other international students, and learn about financial aid, Community Life, and academic information. In addition, students will tour the greater Boston area, and receive an overview of campus policies and student expectations inside and outside of the classroom.
