Facilities
Atrium Lobby
The Atrium Lobby provides the Fine Arts Center its architectural signature. Located mid-point between the Center’s academic classrooms and its performance venues, the glass-enclosed, two-floor Atrium Lobby provides a beautiful gathering place for events, receptions, meetings, and dinners. The Atrium Lobby also serves as the lobby area for the Eleanor Welch Casey Theatre, the Black Box Theatre, and the Carney Gallery. At the front of the Center, the main entrance allows for patron drop-off while a convenient second floor entrance provides direct access to the adjacent to the parking facility located behind the Center.
Eleanor Welch Casey Theatre

The Casey Theatre is the jewel of the Fine Arts Center and plays host to more than thirty performances and programs each season. A wide variety of artistic and cultural expressions are presented, including orchestras, theatre, dance, and musical recitals.
Its 650 seats rise in a gentle slope to the control room at the back of the hall providing excellent sight lines. Equipped with advanced lighting, audio, and staging technologies, this venue is as fine a theatre as any in the Boston area. The Theatre's splendid acoustics have inspired a number of classical and contemporary musicians to use it as a professional recording studio.
Carney Gallery

Thanks to a generous contribution by George and Laetitia Albiani Carney '58, the Carney Gallery opened in 1993 as an integral part of the Fine Arts Center. Exhibitions focus on works by contemporary artists, enabling Regis College to play an important role in fostering the growth of the arts. This intimate venue of 1,150 square feet also hosts the Center’s Writers Read Series.
The Carney Gallery is located just off the Atrium Lobby on the first floor of the Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and by appointment. (Please call the Fine Arts Center director at 781-768-7034 to arrange an appointment.)
Black Box Theatre
The experimental Black Box Theatre, a dedicated classroom and performance space for the Regis College theatre program, accommodates up to 100 people for drama workshops, rehearsals, and meetings. Each year the Regis College Theatre Company produces at least one fully staged production in the Black Box. Additionally, student-directed scenes and productions offer superb acting, design, and technical opportunities for experiential learning.
Green Room/Dressing Room Suite
Strategically located between the Casey and Black Box theatres, the Green Room is a suite consisting of a lounge, dressing room/make-up room, wardrobe room, and two rest rooms. The make-up room is fitted with lighted make-up mirrors and abundant counter space. The wardrobe room is complete with laundry facilities and rack space for most costuming needs. Each rest room is equipped with showers and lockers, while the lounge area includes a small kitchenette. The Green Room suite also connects directly to the Black Box Theatre.
