The Office of Residence Life and Housing
Each residence hall is staffed by well-trained professional and para-professional staff members. Your residence hall staff is there to assist you in making your on-campus living experience both positive and fulfilling. The following are the various staff members who will be assisting you throughout the year.
Director of Housing
The Director of Housing is responsible for the guidance and daily operation of all the residence halls on campus. The responsibilities of the Director of Housing include all general housing concerns along with programming and guidance for the commuter program. With support of the Director of Housing, it is the goal of the Office of Residence Life staff to make students' on-campus living experience as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible.
A Community Coordinator is a full-time, live-in, professional staff member who holds at least a bachelor’s degree and previous experience working with college students. The Community Coordinator manages a residence hall, heads up a team of Resident Assistants (RAs) and is responsible for their supervision and evaluation. The Community Coordinator is also responsible for the administration of the residence hall, desk staff personnel, informal counseling of students, responding to disciplinary actions, and encouraging and supporting leadership development opportunities, programs, and activities within the hall.
Although the Community Coordinators will have posted office hours during the work week, a Community Coordinator is also "on duty" from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. each day. The Community Coordinator is the staff member available to address immediate residence hall concerns when the Office of Residence Life or the Office of Student Affairs is closed. The professional staff reserves the right to meet with you at any time deemed necessary during your stay at Regis College.

Their offices are located in the Lower Student Union, Rooms 124 and 125. Office phone numbers are posted in each hall.
Resident Assistants (RAs) are upper-class undergraduate students trained to help you and often the best individuals to turn to with a question. There is an RA who lives on each floor or wing and is available to discuss personal and interpersonal conflicts, refer students to resource persons, help develop residence hall programs, and work closely with the Community Coordinator in the administration of the residence hall.
RAs will also be able to answer your questions about the school and about campus life, along with providing opportunities to make you feel welcome at Regis College.
