Application Requirements for General Master's Programs

  1. Application, résumé and personal statement (describing your career goals and how you expect the Regis College graduate program will assist you in meeting them)
  2. A GPA of 3.0 from previous coursework
  3. Official transcripts
  4. One letter of recommendation from professors or supervisors
  5. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT)*
  6. A non-refundable application fee of $65

* Applicants may have this requirement waived by attaining a grade of B or higher in two graduate courses as a non-matriculated student at Regis.

Application Requirements for Master's Nursing Programs for Nurses

All graduate nursing applications (with the exception of the Accelerated BS/MS, Part-Time BS, and Accelerated 16-month BS in Nursing programs) are processed through the Regis School of Nursing and Health Sciences and are considered on a rolling admission basis.

  1. Application+, résumé and personal statement (describing your career goals and how you expect the Regis graduate program will assist you in meeting them)
  2. A GPA of 3.0 from previous coursework
  3. Official transcripts
  4. Two letters of recommendation from professors or supervisors
  5. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT)*
  6. A personal interview (students are responsible for setting up their interviews)
  7. A non-refundable application fee of $75

* An RN who already holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing may have this requirement waived by attaining a grade of B or higher in two graduate courses as a non-matriculated student. RNs who hold an associate’s degree or a diploma in nursing are not required to take the GRE or Miller Analogies Test.

+ Applicants to the Accelerated BS/MS and Part-Time BS in Nursing must apply online.

Application Requirements for the Accelerated BS/MS, Part Time BS, and Accelerated 16-month BS in Nursing programs (Non Nurse College Graduates)

  1. Application+, résumé and personal statement (describing your career goals and how you expect the Regis graduate program will assist you in meeting them)
  2. A GPA of 3.25 from undergraduate degree program, as well as prerequisite courses
  3. Official transcripts indicating completion of Bachelor's degree and required prerequisite courses
  4. Two letters of recommendation
  5. Scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT)*. Students who already hold a Master's Degree are waived from this requirement, however, no other exceptions are applicable.
  6. A personal interview may be required of qualified candidates. Interviews are offered by invitation only.
  7. A non-refundable application fee of $75

* Does not apply to the Part Time BS or Accelerated 16-month BS in Nursing programs

Application Requirements for the Accelerated BS in Medical Imaging

  1. Application and résumé
  2. Personal statement of 500-750 words addressing the topics below:
    • Why are you choosing to pursue a career in Nuclear Medicine and how have your past experiences influenced your decision and career interests?
    • An observation of a Nuclear Medicine Department should be completed prior to submitting your application. Please discuss this observation in your personal statement*
  3. An Undergraduate and prerequisite GPA of 3.0
  4. Official transcripts indicating completion of Bachelor's degree and required prerequisite courses**
  5. Two letters of recommendation from professors or colleagues
  6. A personal interview may be required of qualified candidates. Interviews are offered by invitation only.
  7. A non-refundable application fee of $100

** The Admission Committee may admit a student on a conditional status of all prerequisite courses have not been completed at the time of acceptance. Prerequisites must be completed prior to the beginning if the program.

All science prerequisites for Nursing & Medical Imaging programs must have been completed within 7 years prior to program start date. Review Courses or CLEP exams may be taken to reactive older courses.

Application Requirements for the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy

Regis College accepts applications solely through the Centralized Application System for Occupational Therapy (OTCAS) portal: https://portal.otcas.org/. Please review OTCAS for all application requirements and deadlines.

  1. Application, résumé and personal statement (describing your career goals and how you expect the Regis College graduate program will assist you in meeting them)
  2. Applicants must achieve at least one of the following levels for admittance:
       • Completion of a related (biology, kinesiology, athletic training) undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0
          or
       • Completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited university, and a B- or better in all prerequisite courses listed below
  3. Official transcripts
  4. Two letters of recommendation from professors or supervisors
  5. Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  6. A personal interview may be required as part of the application process (students are responsible for setting up their interviews)
  7. A non-refundable application fee
  8. Completion of the following prerequisite courses* of study as part of, or in addition to, an undergraduate degree. Coursework must be from an accredited university:
    Anatomy and Physiology with Lab 8 credits
    Human Development (Psychology) 3 credits
    Abnormal Psychology 3 credits
    Kinesiology 3-4 credits
    Sociology 3 credits
    Statistics 3 credits
    Neuroanatomy/Neurobiology 3-4 credits

*A student who has completed a bachelor’s degree including all of the above prerequisites except one, may be granted conditional admission to the program, under the stipulation that the outstanding prerequisite be completed prior to beginning the MS program.

Transfer of Credit/Advanced Placement/Experiential Learning: Transfer of credit from another approved institution of higher learning will be allowed if it is for graduate work done within five years prior to enrolling in Regis and the grade received for the work is not less than B-. No more than two courses may be transferred. Only those courses will be accepted that correlate with standards for the particular component of the program in which the student is enrolled. Students applying for transfer credit are required to submit to the appropriate graduate program director a transcript and a syllabus or a detailed course description of those courses for which they are requesting transfer credit.

The Regis OT program does not offer advanced placement or credit for experiential learning.
