Claudia Pouravelis has served as Associate Dean of Graduate Academic Affairs, in which capacity she oversees the Graduate Admission and Graduate Student Services departments, since May 2012. She is also currently an adjunct professor in the new Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership program launched in 2014 at Regis. She earned an EdD in Educational Leadership – Higher Education from Johnson & Wales University and MA and BA degrees from Boston College. Her research interests include adult learning theories, graduate education, and self-efficacy among graduate and adult students. She has previously taught at Merrimack College and has presented at national and regional conferences on graduate enrollment. She is an avid traveler, enjoys teaching weekly Zumba classes at Regis, and loves staying current on trends and research in graduate higher education. She has served as Big Sister for the past 9 years as part of the Big Sister/Little Sister Association.
