Dr. Glynn was appointed dean of the School of Nursing, Science and Health Professions in 2013, after serving as interim dean when incumbent Antoinette Hays was named Regis College president in 2011. She joined the Regis faculty in 2004, bringing with her 24 years of experience in administrative and faculty positions at Simmons College, Lesley University and Boston College. Prior to becoming dean, Dr. Glynn was the coordinator of the Regis College Generic Master’s Program, and chair of the Post-Licensure Graduate Nursing Program.  She has secured and managed over $1.5 million in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services funding over the past three decades, and continues to be actively engaged in securing funding for the School of Nursing, Science and Health Professions.

Prior to her academic career, Dr. Glynn spent twelve years providing direct patient care as advanced practice nurse in adult primary care, and as a staff nurse and nurse manager in medical surgical nursing.
