Experience

Professor Fardy joined Regis College in 2009. A community and public health clinical nurse specialist, Professor Fardy’s most recent professional experience includes the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Viacor, Inc., Regis College Peru Solidarity Trip, AP® College Board, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University Hospital of Cincinnati, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital (Cleveland, OH), Cleveland Department of Public Health (Cleveland, OH), and the Sleep and Epidemiology Research Center at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (Cleveland, OH).

Professor Fardy’s clinical research background spans pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices, with special interests in vulnerable populations, translational science, global equity, and policy analysis. The NU 340/640 Community Health Nursing course coordinator, Professor Fardy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Public Health Association, Massachusetts Public Health Association, Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, and Society of Clinical Research Associates.
