Chas Burr specializes in medical device regulation and quality systems. His entire career has been in medical technology. As technical director, Chas helped establish the Clinical Engineering Service at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (now part of Brigham and Women's Hospital). He held numerous positions in his twenty years with Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group, including division and group level management in regulatory affairs and quality system services. Since 2000, Chas has managed the regulatory/quality departments in two medical device start-ups, consulted through his company (Chas Burr Q/R Services, Inc.), and taught regulatory affairs at Northeastern University and Regis College. Chas continues to provide occasional strategic consulting to medical device start-up companies. He is a Fellow of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society. Chas Burr earned a BS and MS at MIT and an MBA at Harvard University.
