Sister Carmela has taught at Regis College since 1978, starting out as lecturer and rising through the ranks to associate professor of education. Prior to joining Regis, Sister Carmela worked at Boston area universities including Boston University, Northeastern, Boston School for the Deaf, and Bridgewater State College. She has been an active member of many committees including Curriculum and Policy, Educational Resource, Promotion & Tenure, Library Advisory Board on Literacy, just to name a few.
Sister Carmela was selected for inclusion in the sixth edition of Who’s Who Among American Teachers, 2000 and Who’s Who Among Weston Women Educators, 2006.
