Health & Fitness Studies Degree Programs
The Health and Fitness Studies Department at Regis offers students the opportunity to build a strong foundation for entering professional positions in the growing Health and Fitness industry. Students within the Health and Fitness Studies major will choose a track in Sports Management, Nutrition or Exercise Science. Completion of the program will prepare students for leadership roles in a variety of health and fitness industries including: professional sports, college and high school athletic administration, recreation management, nutrition, exercise physiology and much more.
Students have two internship opportunities, one with a general Health and Fitness Studies and the second, a senior-level internship, with a track-specific focus. Internships provide students with the opportunity to gain experiential knowledge within their field as well as develop strong networking relationships within the profession.
The Health and Fitness major also provides a foundation for graduate study in fields such as Management, Nutrition, Health Administration, Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology.
