ACE is Quantitative Support Services
What is the Quantitative Support Service?
Our tutors serve the undergraduate student population by providing comprehensive, drop-in tutoring support for courses with quantitative components. We provide direct assistance to students via peer/professional tutoring, review sessions, and online/print resources. The Quantitative Support Coordinator works continuously and closely with faculty, staff, and students to establish additional programs that enhance student learning.
We strive to be a positive, encouraging, and friendly center that welcomes students of every ability; math novices, and math phobics are encouraged to come in, say hello, and meet the staff.
Who are the tutors?
The tutors include a full time qualitative subject coach, Regis faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students. All student tutors participate in a comprehensive training program that includes discussion of professional conduct, teaching practices, positive psychology, and administrative methods.
When is Quantitative Support available?
Services are located on the second floor of the Library during the fall and spring semesters. The room is open every weekday with afternoon and evening hours. Please click on the schedule below (updated weekly) to find the days and times that walk-in tutoring is available for your particular class. Please note that summer tutoring is available by appointment only.
