The PRIDE Scholars Program is a holistic student success and leadership program for first-generation college students. The program offers an extra layer of personalized academic support and leadership development throughout your experience at Regis.

We believe that comprehensive support in a unique learning community can strengthen every student’s ability to work to their fullest potential, succeed to graduation, and build life-long connections.

Benefits of the PRIDE Scholars Program

Pride Scholars achieve higher levels of academic success, earn more academic credits in their first year, and have higher attendance rates and grade point averages than those in a comparison group. Additionally, Pride Scholars reported the highest levels of college satisfaction throughout a university-wide survey.

As a PRIDE Scholar, you will have a unique opportunity to participate in:

  • Early Move-In Program – Incoming PRIDE Scholars are amongst a select group of students welcomed to campus early to enjoy community building and service activities. PRIDE Scholars are invited to move in early on Wednesday, August 28th before the entire student body moves back.
  • Learning Communities – PRIDE Scholars enroll together in certain courses, allowing them to collaborate and share common experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Peer Mentoring – PRIDE Scholars connect with upperclassmen PRIDE Scholar mentors who are available for advice, guidance, and support.
  • Leadership, Service, and Skill-Building Opportunities – PRIDE Scholars develop valuable leadership and academic skills through small group service projects, seminars, and experiential learning courses designed for PRIDE Scholars.

Due to limited space, we can only accept 20 students each year.
