Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging, Breast Imaging Concentration

Program Description

Registered and registry-eligible technologists in Radiography (RT(R)) are candidates for the Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Imaging with Breast Imaging (BI) concentration. The BI curriculum, which commences each September and continues for a full calendar year, requires a full-time commitment. Given successful completion of all BI components and all general education core requirements, students may complete the entire program in as little as 12 months.

Clinical rotations take place at the clinical affiliates, including Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Lawrence General Hospital, Lowell General Hosptial, Massachusetts General Hospital/ Northshore, Northshore Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, and UMass Memorial Medical Center. Students are responsible for arranging transportation to and from clinical affiliates as needed.
