ACE’s Health Sciences Support Services

What is ACE’s Health Science Support Services?

ACE’s Health Sciences focused programming offers comprehensive tutoring and review services in all Health Sciences related courses. Our tutoring is available to both graduate and undergraduate students, regardless of program. Available tutoring includes drop-in tutoring support for Nursing classes, as well as scheduled group tutoring for all other majors. These services are available on the second floor of the Library.

Who tutors here?

ACE coordinates tutoring with undergraduate and graduate peer tutors, as well as with certain faculty members who have volunteered their services to you, our valued students. All peer tutors are students who have earned at least a 3.0 gpa overall and at least a B+ in the course they are tutoring, though most tutors have received an A in the course they are covering. All tutors have also been recommended by their professors and have undergone training through Academic Support Specialists.

When is ACE’s Health Sciences Support Services open?

As a result of the new nature of the facility, hours might change as the semester and year progress. For specific tutoring schedules, including when different Nursing courses are available for drop-in tutoring, please see the posted weekly schedule, which will be both emailed to students at the beginning of each semester as well as posted outside of the Carr Room.

All tutoring is available at no charge for Regis students.
