Regis College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges a voluntary, nongovernmental, peer-based membership association dedicated to promoting standards of excellence and improvement in higher education.

Regis College is authorized by the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, One Ashburton Place, Room 1401, Boston, MA 02108

Alaska

Online programs offered by Regis College are exempt from authorization in Alaska under AS 14.48.

Master of Science in Nursing and Post Master’s Certificate in Nursing Nurse Practioner programs:  Prospective students residing in Alaska are excluded from enrolling in the online nursing programs.

Arizona

Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education.

California

Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.

Colorado

Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.

Connecticut

Regis College is registered with the Connecticut Office of Higher Education to offer online courses and programs to residents of Connecticut.

Florida

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Florida, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Florida Commission for Independent Education.

Hawaii

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Hawaii, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Hawaii Postsecondary Education Authorization Program.

Idaho

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Idaho, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Idaho State Board of Education.

Illinois

Regis College has approval from the Illinois Board of Higher Education to offer online courses and programs to residents of Illinois.

Indiana

This institution is authorized by the Indiana Board for Proprietary Education, 101 W. Ohio St. Suite 670, Indianapolis, IN 46204-1984.

Indiana students who voluntarily withdraw from all courses will receive a tuition refund as follows: prior to start, 0% of term = 100% refund; less than 10% of term = 90% refund; 10% up to but not including 25% = 75% refund; 25% up to but not including 50% = 50% refund; 50% up to but not including 75% = 25% refund; more than 75% = no refund. Regis College will make a proper refund, within thirty-one (31) days of the student's request for cancellation. If the student has paid tuition extending beyond twelve (12) months all such charges shall be refunded.

Kansas

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Kansas, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Kansas Board of Regents.

Louisiana

Regis College is currently licensed by the Board of Regents of the State of Louisiana. Licenses are renewed by the State Board of Regents every two years. Licensed institutions have met minimal operational standards set forth by the state, but licensure does not constitute accreditation, guarantee the transferability of credit, nor signify that programs are certifiable by any professional agency or organization.

Maine

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Maine, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Maine Department of Education.

Maryland

Regis College is registered with the Maryland Higher Education Commission to offer online programs to Maryland residents.

The refund policy for Maryland students is as follows: Proportion of Total Course, Program, or Term completed as of Date of Withdrawal or Termination Tuition Refund: Less than 10% = 90% refund; 10% up to but not including 20% = 80% refund; 20% up to but not including 30% = 60% refund; 30% up to but not including 40% = 40% refund; 40% up to and including 60% = 20% refund; More than 61% = No refund.

Michigan

Regis College has approval to offer online programs to residents of Michigan from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs – Private Postsecondary Education.

Mississippi

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Mississippi, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Mississippi Commission on College Accreditation.

Missouri

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Missouri, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Missouri Department of Higher Education.

Montana

Regis College has authorization from the Montana Board of Regents.

Nebraska

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Nebraska, the University is not required to obtain authorization from the Nebraska Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education.

Nevada

Regis College is authorized by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education to offer online programs to residents of Nevada.

New Hampshire

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in New Hampshire, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the New Hampshire Department of Education, Division of Higher Education.

New Jersey

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in New Jersey, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education.

North Dakota

Regis College is exempt from the North Dakota University System.

All Nursing programs: Prospective students residing in North Dakota are excluded from enrolling in the online nursing programs.

Oklahoma

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Oklahoma, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Pennsylvania

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Pennsylvania, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Pennsylvania Department of Education – Division of Higher and Career Education.

South Carolina

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in South Carolina, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.

South Dakota

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in South Dakota, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the South Dakota Secretary of State – Postsecondary Education.

Tennessee

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Tennessee, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.

All Nursing programs: Prospective students residing in Tennessee are excluded from enrolling in the online nursing programs.

Utah

Regis College has authorization from the Utah Division of Consumer Protection to offer online courses and programs to residents of Utah.

Vermont

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Vermont, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the Vermont Agency of Education.

Virginia

Because Regis College does not have a physical presence in Virginia, Regis College is not required to obtain authorization from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.

West Virginia

Regis College has authorization from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission to offer online courses and programs to residents of West Virginia.

Wyoming

Regis College has authorization from the Wyoming Department of Education to offer online courses and programs to residents of Wyoming.

All Nursing programs: Prospective students residing in Wyoming are excluded from enrolling in the online nursing programs.
