Instructor of Dance

An active dance educator, choreographer, and dancer, Patricia teaches the Introduction to Dance and the Styles of Dance in World Cultures courses at Regis College. She also teaches the Elements of Dance course at Boston College and directs the Performing Arts Program at the Jordan Boys & Girls Club of Chelsea.

Patricia earned her B.A. from Boston College and M.A. in dance education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has taught ballet, jazz, tap, and creative movement at Topf Center for Dance Education, Teachers College Dance Program, Tufts University Children's Theater, Columbia University Children's Arts Camp, and public schools in Boston and New York City.

Patricia has worked with many companies, such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, Paul Taylor Dance Company, and American Ballet Theater, through City Center in New York City, to develop and implement education outreach programs for the companies. Her choreography has been showcased in New York City, Boston, and Dallas, Texas.

Besides receiving her dance training in Texas at Top Hat Dance Centre, Denton Ballet, and Ballet Dallas, Patricia has trained in New York at Broadway Dance Center, Steps, and New Dance Group. She currently performs with the Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble and recently danced for Audra Carabetta Company. In the past, she has also performed with Quintessence Ballet Company, Festival Ballet of North Texas, and Gotta Dance Company.
