Steve is University Scholar of Carnegie-Mellon University, where he earned his B.F.A. in drama with concentrations in technical production and theatrical design. He has been designing and providing technical direction for the industrial, theatrical, and dance communities for over 20 years.
Steve's work has been seen with such companies as The Virginia Stage Company, The Manhattan Ensemble, The Actor's Theatre of New York, The Huntington Theatre, Theatre in Process, New Theatre, Boston Dance Company, Massachusetts Youth Ballet, Bennett Dance Company, and The Boston Center for the Arts. His industrial credits include designs for Fram/Autolite, Princess House Crystal, Prudential Insurance, Prime Computer, Polaroid Corporation, and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society.
Steve began working in educational theatre in 1987 and then teaching in 1990. He was one of the founding members of The Boston Alliance of Theatre Artisans and wrote the arts proficiency requirements for technical theatre for the state of Massachusetts in 1995. He joined the faculty and staff at Regis College in 2000.
