A Note From The Director Of Campus Police
On behalf of the Regis College Campus Police Department I would like to welcome you to our website.
The Police Department is here to do all we can to allow your time at Regis College to be enjoyable, productive and safe. To accomplish this task we need your input, cooperation and assistance. Community Policing is the approach we use to best be a part of the college community. We want to be accessible and responsive to the entire community’s needs without being intrusive. The community is made up of traditional and non-traditional students, both resident and commuter, our founders, the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Intergenerational Programs, such as; young children enrolled in our kindergarten program at the Regis Academy and the college’s own Children’s Center; as well as guest groups, tenants, and of course, our faculty and staff. We are a community that is diverse and vibrant in many ways. The main mission of our police department is to protect the assets of Regis College. These assets fall in four major categories. They are, in order of importance, our community members and guests, our property, our information, and our reputation. It is our responsibility, through words and actions, to consistently act and react in a professional, compassionate and truthful manner. By using this philosophy we strive to maintain trust between our department and the community as a whole.
