Regis College School of Nursing, Science, and Health Professions Honored - First in New England to be designated Center of Excellence in Nursing Education
The National League for Nursing has recognized the Regis School of Nursing, Science, and Health Professions as a Center of
Excellence in Nursing Education. Regis was first honored in 2008 and received re-designation for 2011-2015. Currently, there are only 19 nursing programs in the country to receive the Center of Excellence designation. The Center of Excellence designation, which began in 2004, distinguishes “those schools that demonstrate sustained, evidence-based and substantive innovation, conduct ongoing research to document the effectiveness of such innovation; set high standards for themselves; and are committed to continuous quality improvement.” The award recognizes Regis for “creating environments that enhance student learning and professional development.”
