Regis College Distributes iPads to Graduate Students

At Regis College in Weston, MA, Nuclear Medicine graduate students participating in Graduate Student Orientation were pleasantly surprised when they received an iPad as part of Regis’s rTIP (Regis Technology Innovation Program).
Regis is distributing iPads to all full- time undergrads and selected graduate students as part of its initiative to cultivate digital pedagogy. Here Meagan Harrington of Bridgewater smiles with delight at the gift. Brad Moore, ITS Helpdesk Manager, was pleased to hand them out.
Regis College Graduate Nursing student, Brian Banks from Abington, MA, said “It will be nice not having to carry around textbooks, that’s for sure!” Brian is a full-time Grad student who attended orientation yesterday afternoon.

Regis College Grad Nursing Students, Alexa Nicholls and Kenai Hattori, of Charlestown and Brookline respectively, were very happy to pick up their iPads yesterday afternoon.
“I had an iPad that my friend gave me but I gave it back to her when I found out that I was getting an iPad from Regis,” said Tara Conway from Hudson, MA. Tara is a Graduate Nursing student.
