José Mateo, Director of the José Mateo Ballet Theatre professional performance company and school in Cambridge, spent the day at Regis College in Weston on Tuesday March 27 giving a public lecture, meeting students,
and appearing as a guest artist in the College’s dance studio for the “Styles of Dance in World Cultures” class. Mateo has built local and global connections for his visionary project, “Dance for World Community,” which seeks to expand the role of dance in our culture for diverse audiences and participants.
