Easter Passage: Sister Anna Mary Kelly, CSJ, Regis Class of 1933, RIP
May 11, 2009
President’s Message
Sister Anna Mary Kelly, CSJ, Regis Class of 1933 (Sister Tarcisius), passed away on Easter Saturday, April 18, 2009. Well known and much loved for her service at Regis as a member of the faculty, director of continuing education, and foundress of the Spanish Institute, in recent years Sister Anna Mary stayed connected to many alumnae of both the Weston and the Framingham campuses through personal correspondence. As one would expect, to the very end she continued to share wisdom and encourage others in their lives. Only last June Sister Anna Mary was on campus, the first Regis graduate to attend her 75th College reunion. This photo was taken at that time and shows her spirit. Her wake will be at Fontbonne Convent in Milton on Wednesday afternoon, April 22, followed by a funeral liturgy there on Thursday morning, April 23. The linked obituary gives the details. Go with God, Sister Anna Mary, and enter into the joy of the Resurrection!
Mary Jane England, ’59, M. D.
