Experience
As well as her role as nursing faculty at Regis College, Dr. Street oversees the global outreach program to address nurse faculty shortage in developing nations. Current efforts are underway in Haiti providing graduate level nurse education to nursing faculty from all regions of Haiti. She is responsible for oversight of curriculum development, implementation of the project with the Haitian government and fundraising efforts for a planned 10-year commitment.
Prior to joining Regis College, Dr. Street was Director of Student Based Health Center/Practitioner at Boston Latin Academy; Director of Health Services at Milton Academy, Milton, MA; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Boston City Hospital; Liaison Nurse Practitioner at Harvard Community Health Plan in Boston; Medical and Surgical Primary Care Nurse at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston; and Primary Nurse for Orthopedic, Plastic and ENT surgery at Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Street is an IRB Community Member of Dana Farber Office of Institutional Research and former co-president of LWV of Milton Board of Directors. She is licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, and certified by American Nurses Association as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
