Experience

Dr. Segall's teaching interests include sixteenth and seventeenth-century British drama and poetry, Old and Middle English language and literature, classical mythology, fantasy and science fiction, and the fiction of Vladimir Nabokov. His current scholarly research focuses on metatextuality in English Renaissance lyric and tragicomedy, especially in Spenser's poetry and in Shakespeare's late plays and apocrypha. Prior to joining Regis College in 2007, Dr. Segall lectured at Suffolk County Community College, University of Texas - Pan American, Bunker Hill Community College, and Tufts University. He also currently lectures for Northeastern University.
