Lauren Petit ’12 is a Lecturer in the Professional and Organizational Communications Graduate Program at Regis College. She also serves as Manager of Communications and Community Relations for Saint-Gobain, located in Worcester, where she is responsible for overseeing community relations and charitable giving, as well as all internal, external and crisis communications.
Lauren has more than 15 years of experience in communications and has held marketing, corporate communications and public relations roles throughout her career. In the community, Lauren serves as a member of the board of directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of New England. She also serves as a Corporator for the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts, YMCA of Central Massachusetts and the Worcester Public Library Foundation. Lauren is the recipient of several prestigious communication awards, including the 2009 Award of Excellence Lamplighter Award and a 2008 Silver Lamplighter Award from the New England Society of Healthcare Communications, and a 2012 Silver Bell Ringer from the Publicity Club of New England. Most recently, Lauren was recognized for her work in communications and in the community as a “40 Under 40” Award recipient by the Worcester Business Journal.
