Kathleen Jose, Regis class of 1987 and 1994, is the former chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Mass. As a senior leader at Lahey, Ms. Jose oversaw the highest excellence in patient care and created operational programs that ensured quality and improved patient satisfaction. She managed an $80 million budget, oversaw 1,200 full-time positions, and led a cross-functional team that successfully took Lahey to Magnet Status in 2009, an award given by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) to hospitals that satisfy a set of criteria designed to measure the strength and quality of their nursing. Ms. Jose is a former member of the Board of Directors of Massachusetts Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE) and Nurse Executive Center, The Advisory Board Company. She attended Northeastern University prior to Regis College and was a Wharton Nurse Executive Fellow in 2000.
