The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has awarded Regis College accreditation of its global business management program.

“This accreditation verifies the strength of the university’s School of Business and Communication and we are thankful to the ACBSP for its thorough review and accreditation,” said William Koehler, dean of the Marshall M. Sloane School of Business and Communication.

“Regis College has shown a commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2020 in Chicago on June 28. “This accreditation is evidence that Regis College is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students.”

Celebrating 32 years of excellence in global business program accreditation, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. Accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes offered at the Sloane School meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

Based on the Baldridge Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support to determine whether or not business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and demonstrate continuous quality improvement.

The global business management program at the Marshall M. Sloane School of Business and Communication blends a liberal arts and international business management education to prepare future professionals for work in business, government and non-profit organizations in an increasingly global environment. Students participate in cutting-edge seminars and focused, high-level internships at investment firms, hospitals, federal government offices, and other prestigious organizations. Professors bring real-world experience into the classroom to combine theory and practice, providing quality individual and seminar-style mentoring.
